WordPress; 2.6.5 released
WordPress is a well known name in the world of blogging. Not really weird; as it is very easy to install AND to use.
Not only for blogging – but it can also be used to set up a plain and simple (business?) homepage. WordPress released number 2.6.5. Soon there will be the (long waited for !!) 2.7 – but meanwhile this 2.6.5 has been released because of a security fix and 3 bugs.
Why did they release a 2.6.5 after the 2.6.3 release…?? To make sure that you are not getting confused with a FAKE 2.6.4 release – which contains a Trojan!
In case you do not have your own (hosted) server; there is always the possibility to create your own WordPress blog/page via WordPress.com, which will work (like Blogger) via the server of WordPress.
