TwitME; your WordPress posts to Twitter

twitmeOne of my favorite plugins; TwitME.
It generates an automatic Twitter message of your latest Wordpress post.
As I am always posting my OnMyComp.com articles at 00.10h – I am nicely able to see the effect of also putting my posts via Twitter…. thanks to TwitMe

Put the plugin to your plugin folder; activate it. And you will see a new TwitME tab on your left (in WP2.7).

Just fill in your Twitter details into the Settings – put a test…. and go ahead!

I changed the message settings a little bit;
New Blog Post on OnMyComp.com => “%POSTTITLE%” pls click %POSTURL%
(translation; New Blog Post on OnMyComp.com => “the title of your post” pls click “the url to the post”
If your url is to long for a Twitter post; it will make a smaller URL (timesurl)

Of course you can even turn off the auto-posting.

And in the TwitME screen you can also see all the Twitter posts of your friends and  you make a regular post.
In all honesty; I did have a couple of issues with TwitME – but the developer is really listening to his users = it seems all to be fixed now !!

Download Plugin; TwitME
