TomTom; MP3’s from SD card
Sometimes it takes a long time to figure something out. And the solution is soooooo easy….!!
Okay – I have nice navigation system for my car; TomTom 720.
It contains
- (of course) the navigation
- it also has bluetooth- to make handsfree calling
- but is also capable of playingMP3s via a radio-frequency to my car audio (FM transmitter).
BUT; somehow I was not able to put MP3s on a SD card and play those files on my TomTom…
And the solution…??
SOOOO SIMPLE – but I could not find this solution in the instructions !!
You first need to make a folder on the SD Card called (surprisingly) “mp3″ .
In this folder you can put your mp3s (also in subfolders; no problem)
But as long as you are not using this “mp3″ folder; your TomTom will not find/see any mp3s from your SD card !
