I guess people are coming here to read on how to get around the Thunderbird + gmail + iPhone sync issues. Problem with the gmail tuts is that is that though there are lots of them it doesn't show the tri-sync specifics as mentioned in your Part 1 of this topic. Would be great to see if you could post not only a CALENDAR "tri-sync" tut but also maybe a CONTACTS and NOTES sync "tri-sync"... just my 2 cents.
