Sun Virtualbox; run guest operating system

virtualboxAre you also curious about other operating systems….?
Maybe you are already running several operating systems; and select the one you want to run from the boot…??

I was really curious about running Linux on my computer; but didn’t want to log off my windows system first…..

There are a couple of programs out there which can run a guest operating system while running windows (or Linux or Solaris or MacIntosh …??) and I have been trying a couple. But in some weird kind of way; my XP 64 bit operating system is not working with all of them (or they are not working with my OS….)

But hey……. I found one; with Sun VirtualBox – I am now running Ubuntu 64 bit !!
And it works smoothly (and FREE) !!

You can make a new “system”… tell it how big the harddrive has to be – the memory use – the videocard memory….. and install an operating system on it……
