Sometimes I am helping people with their computer(software). I find it remarkable that there are still people outthere who do the uninstall of programs in the following way;

Go to the Programs folder – find the folder of the program – DELETE….!!!

For those who think that is “normal”…. Nooooo – you really can hurt your system with this…!!
The normal way is; use the uninstall of a program – if you can not find it…. go to control panel and via “add or remove programs” you can uninstall a program.
BUT; with a lot of programs a lot of “garbage” will stay on your computer. And I already had some problems with people which computer was a bit meshed up – because of that “garbage”.
Now a days I am using Revo Uninstaller; the title says it -> it will uninstall your programs….!! But TOTALLY…. !!! It will also let you see all the “garbage files”…. and you can select them to be deleted also. Furthermore it is capable of “turning off programs” which start up automatically. It can also delete your browser history etc.

BUT; the most important (I find) – it does the un-install perfectly and FREE !!
