Phishing with Twitter; fake Twitter page…..
A little warning this time…..
Seems that there are a lot of people who got an email with the following message; “hey! check out this funny blog about you…” That same email is also providing a link. Which seems to be a login screen for Twitter…. BUT IT IS NOT !!!
You will see on the left what is wrong with this login screen; it is an URL with twitter.ACCESS-LOGINS.com.
If you are a little bit into the domain registration; you would notice that this is not a Twitter domain; but the domain “access-logins.com”….. That one has also been trying to steal password from Facebook users in the past !
And that is also what this login screen of the fake Twitter is doing; it will steal your password !
Probably you are wondering what “scary stuff” they can do with your password, just 2 examples;
* they can send out messages from your account – which could (and probably will) be spam…. and they make a lot of money with spam !!
* are you only using this password for your twitter account..??? Or are you also using it, for example, your email account…?? Go figure what they can do with that one !!
