OnMyWordPress; 5th Future Posts Calendar Plugin

futurepostsOne of the plugins I have been mentioning before…. and it is still one of my favourites.
This OnMyComp blog is mainly working with “scheduled posts”; which means that most of the posts are written a couple of days before publishing date.
At the moment of writing I could just use the Scheduled Post option of WordPress – but with my chaotic mind… I would be able to put 2 posts on one date… or even more.. !!
So I searched for a plugin which could prevent “double posts”.

Future Posts Calender is doing this job. After installing it; you will see a nice calendar on the top right of your “add new post” screen.

At the moment you finished writing your post – you can click a day of the month – change the time of publishing and after hitting the Schedule button; it will show up in your little calendar as a “green day”. Does it turn blue; it means you already have a post scheduled for that day/time.

This way; you have a nice overview of dates with a scheduled post!

What does the website say;

It adds a simple month-by-month calendar that shows all the months you have future posts for (and the current month no matter what), it highlights the days you have posts for, and as an added bonus if you click a day the Post Timestamp boxes change to that day, month and year (although it doesn’t check the edit timestamp box to avoid accidental changes).
