OnMyWordPress; 2nd – Admin Favicon
At the moment you open this weblog – you will see a nice “flashing” icon in your tab and where you see the url of this page.
That little icon is called “favicon”…..
I am using Admin Favicon to put it there.
First you make a nice little ico – there are a lof of generators out there; FavIcon – Favicon Generator
Once you have made one; upload to it your website (I have been using FileZilla for this job)
In the plugin you have to tell where you put this ico….. and you are done !!
From the webpage;
Admin Favicon is a very simple plugin. It creates a link to a shortcut icon, or favicon, into the header of the WordPress administrative console. What does this mean? Look at the address bar or tab indicator of your web browser. You should see an image next to the URL of this page. This is a favicon. It lets you easily identify this page from other pages you have open. This is very valuable for tabbed browsing, when you have many tabs open at the same time.
