New Tab button; plug-in + tip !

nexttabbuttonI have been looking for a little thing which Firefox (I thought) forgot to put in their browser; to put a button on the right side of your most right button; to add a new tab….

For that; this week I found this nice little plug in; New Tab Button on Tab Right 0.5.10

But then – just a little later I figured something out – which maybe a lot of people do not know….
Of course there is the option to add the “new tab” button to one of your toolbars….
“View” – “Toolbars” – “Customize” – and then drag the “new tab” button to one of the toolbars you are using.

But no – that is not what I was talking about = this is another little tip; did you know that, at the moment you have 2 tabs open, you double click on the right of the most right tab; and yes – a new tab is appearing…

So; this plugin I am just using for the moment I only have one tab open……

Download; plugin New Tab Button on Tab Right
(seems like this plugin is discontinued – but this tip should do the job also “”View” – “Toolbars” – “Customize” – and then drag the “new tab” button to one of the toolbars you are using.”)

  1. Most browsers will give you a new tab with CRTL+T (Windows, Linux OS) too, although I know many are leery of keyboard shortcuts. :)

  2. I even didn’t know this one……. so – I just tried it (for the first time)….. ;)
And I am already “browsing” for years and years…..

Yeah weird uh…. I do not know anyone who is working with those shortcuts…. I wonder why…?
    Thanks for the little tip…..
